Bringing your furry friends
We have a dog, Milo, who joins us for this adventure. Finding out how to bring pets to Belgium can be tricky especially if you don’t live in major cities which have a lot of resources. Understanding required documents are important. Moreover, timing when you get them all is very critical as well!

Requirements from US to Belgium
- 15 digit microchip
- Rabies Vaccination after microchip implant : ONLY VACCINATION AFTER IDENTIFICATION IS VALID AND AFTER 21 DAYS
- Rabies Antibody / titration test 30 days after vaccination –> NOT REQUIRED IF TRAVELING FROM THE U.S., since USA is listed in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 577/2013
- EU Health Certificate by USDA approved veterinarian within 10 days before departure
- Have APHIS sign and seal the EU Health Certificate
